Given your own experiences, what needs to be their highest priority NOW and once they do open their doors to the paying public?
In addition, I’ve two clients Bill & Ben – and no, they’re not the flower-pot men!
They’re having troubles with their staff not being as productive as they could be. They’re in a packaging environment & feel their staff are slacking off while they’re outing & abouting, growing the business & talking to customers.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and comments …

With the staff not being as productive as they could be, it's difficult to make them be more productive when the bosses are not around. I picked up some ideas from this conference on business coaching in Macclesfield a few weeks back. It said to improve employee productivity, you could try to engage your employees to build respect and trust, and hopefully they'll want to work hard for you regardless of whether they're being monitored or not. A problem is that if they're on a low wage, they have no fear of being sacked. Therefore by offering a higher wage, in effect they have something to lose by slacking off and shouldn't do it anymore. However that strategy will increase labour costs. One last idea would be to setup cctv cameras to monitor them, but this may break down any trust between employees and bosses. Hope this helps with your problem.
